Talk Nerdy To Me!

Lily Le Fauve 1[6027].jpg

Lily Le Fauve

Lily Le Fauve may be a work of art, but don’t

let her frame fool you! She is a sequined storm and a class clown who believes in bullshitting with style and that red lipstick can save a life. The Buxom Beast, Ace of Babes, and Queen of the first annual All Hallows’ Tease Weekender, she could leave an impression on Monet if she got the chance.

Toxic 2[6031].jpg

Your Toxic Addiction

Toxic the songful Bird has been delighting audiences worldwide since she could walk and talk. She started her journey of music/performing in musicals in school. Since then she has flourished into the career she has today. She is Recognized as one of Portland’s favorite entertainers. She sings, she dances, she acts, and sometimes she does shadows puppets! She is the current reigning Erotic City Queen.

She strives to delight and awe you with creative acts that leave you inspired. Her passions include saving honeybees with her free time, humanitarian/charity work, dancing naked in the moonlight, playing dress up, and most importantly singing loudly where she goes.

Mallory 1[6029].jpeg

Tales from The Nips

Jaxin Ryan. Photo by Casey Campell..jpg

Jaxin Ryan

"Portland's own burlesque heartthrob, emotive beast,  self proclaimed, 'Prince of Roses', and as one (very real) Yelp reviewer once proclaimed, "... some sort of raunchy drag queen."

Graduate of the Rose City School of Burlesque and Mr. Nude Portland 2016, Jaxin Ryan is an exuberant, fearless queer anomaly that has been teasing and titillating crowds up and down the Pacific Northwest, regularly. He has left wave after wave of poetic, glittering justice in his wake and though a solo performer at heart, Jaxin has traveled with Portland's premier all male burlesque troupe, Cocked & Loaded, and Portland's own traveling queer cabaret, The Caravan of Glam. His exploration knows no bounds and it's not unheard of for you to find his toothbrush left in your bathroom!

From nerdy to gritty, to poppy and campy,  there's nothing this sly moving, romp-shaking glitter-fiend won't try on for size. Every showcasing of Jaxin's unique, artistic stylization is a gift you'll surely want to cherish and nai miss out on!"

Natasha Riot. Photo by AmbeRed.jpg

Natasha Riot

Internationally touring showgirl who calls Portland home, Natasha Riot is a multi disciplined and award winning performer. She is the new producer of Burlynomicon, a darkly decadent burlesque and variety show running every 2nd Tuesday at the Lovecraft bar in Portland, as well as producing the campiest series of summer variety shows that the PNW has ever witnessed, aptly named Summer Camp, also at the Lovecraft Bar. Her past life(s) included touring as a featured performer and crew member with the band, Beats Antique, being stage manager and performer with the Hubba Hubba Revue (SF), touring around the world performing and teaching burlesque and bellydance, and living off the land in a remote village while running a dance school in a neighboring town. She could teach you about the engine of your old Toyota pickup while listening to Dokken and subsequently suggesting how you might move your body...and perhaps your mind...more effortlessly through life.

She's also the 2017 Queen of the Roses, as dubbed by the Oregon Burlesque Festival and the runner up in both the 2018 Shimmy Showdown (St. Louis) and the 2017 Miss Exotic Oregon competitions.

How do you go from being a nationally recognized vocal percussionist in a college acapella group to a nationally touring headlining comedian? Ask Tyler Boeh, a comedian whose comedy has been described as high-energy, intelligent, physical, and silly. His quick wit and award winning “beat-boxing” talent bring audiences to hysterical heights.  Tyler started his stand-up career in his hometown of Portland, OR, but after winning or placing in the finals of comedy competitions in Seattle, San Francisco, Boston and at the World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas, Tyler made his way to Los Angeles. Within a year of his move to Hollywood he had established himself at the top comedy clubs, completed work on two television pilots, and Tyler’s debut comedy album, “Carpool Companion” was chosen as LaughSpin Magazine’s album of the year when it was released in 2012. In 2015 Tyler held his own with Craig Fergusson on his new show, “Celebrity Name Game” and appeared in 3 episodes of “Laughs on Fox”. 2016 culminated with a college tour that took him to nearly 40 campuses across the country. Tyler most recently returned to showcase for the third season of “Laughs” which will be airing soon on FOX. He continues to perform across the country at comedy clubs, colleges, and theaters bringing his incredible brand of humor wherever he goes. You can hear his comedy on iTunes, Sirius XM Radio, and Pandora, but don’t miss the chance to see Tyler perform live!

Professor DR Schreiber

As the Historical Conjurer, Professor DR Schreiber evokes the spirit of early magical performances.  Professor DR Schreiber brings parlor magic back to the public. Early in the 19th century, conjuring (as magic was called then) emerged as a genuine art form and entertainment.  Magicians, known as “professors of natural philosophy" and conjuring, would rent taverns, legitimate theaters or lecture halls for the exhibition and displays of legerdemain, necromancy, or what would today be called “illusion” and “magic tricks.”  Top dollar would be paid by the citizens of Europe to see the latest discoveries in the science of “natural philosophy” presented by these conjurers. Today, Professor DR Schreiber presents an historic look at the beginnings of modern magic in his performances and exhibitions.  Professor DR Schreiber leads his audiences on a stroll through the past centuries of conjuring entertainment. His unique presentations entertain while educating the audience about historical events, literary and cultural figures, and the science and art of conjuring.

Professor DR Schreiber is a member of the Academy of Magic Arts (Magic Castle) and board member for the Society of American Magicians Portland Assembly.   In 2011, Professor DR Schreiber was presented with the Stan Kramien Excellence in Stage Magic Award from the Society of American Magicians Portland Assembly.  He has performed and lectured for conferences and events up and down the West Coast, in addition to the UK and Europe. He is also an instructor in magic as well as a magic consultant for legitimate theater companies.  He is also a magic historian and historical re-enactor, as well.

Many years on the dusty carnival circuit has taken a toll while paving the way for experience , knowledge and maybe even a touch of wisdom.. We are excited to welcome these funny people to the golden mic.

1[4440].jpeg

Natalie Holt's comedy career began in Seattle, but  she credits her absurd spirit to her weird and wonderful upbringing in Florida. Onstage, she's a whirl of surreal wordplay who wears her opinionated heart on her sleeve. Her comedy has been described as "an emotional Penthouse letter" with "jokes that almost don't work."  In addition to her work as a producer of Seattle favorite The Comedy Nest, she performs around the nation and has been featured on festivals near (Bumbershoot, All Jane) and far (208 Comedy Festival, Asheville Comedy Festival, 10,000 Laughs).

1[4442].jpeg

Rodger Lizaola has pretty awesome at telling jokes to complete strangers so he has been doing so in Bars, Theaters, Comedy Clubs across the country (also some dudes basement).

Growing up in Gilroy CA but didn't start doing Stand up until moving to Seattle WA in 2003. His first night was at an open mic at the World Famous Comedy Underground in the heart of Pioneer Square. Although those first 3 mins were terrifying he stuck it out to become one of the youngest Headliners in the Northwest.

He has opened for some of the best comics in the business such as Louis C.K, Mike Epps, Tom Cotter, Jimmy Dore, Eddie Brill, David Brenner, Tommy Johnagan, and Ty Barnett . Also has performed with  such musical acts as Good Charlotte, Black Eyed Peas, Rhianna, Pussycat Dolls, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Baby Bash,  And The BackStreet Boys.  Performed at some of the finest venues including but not limited to Paramount Theater(Seattle WA), Moore Theater (Seattle WA), Wells Fargo Center for the Performing Arts(Santa Rosa CA), Tacoma Dome(Tacoma WA), Johnny Carson Theater(Norfolk,NE), Ginger Rodgers Theater(Medford,OR), Throckmorton Theater (Mill Valley,CA). Also some of the best clubs in the country Improv, Punchline, Tacoma Comedy Club, Parlor Live and his home club Comedyunderground in Seattle WA.

Recent champion of the Renton Comedy Competition. Where he won 100$ a I love Renton T-shirt and the admiration of 47 strangers. Since then he has gone on to be a  2X finalist in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition(2009,2015). 2X finalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition(2009,2013). As well as an Invitee to the Las Vegas Comedy Festival (2006),Great American Comedy Festival(2009),Big Sky Comedy Festival(2012),Laughing Derby Comedy Festival(2013),Trail By Laughter Comedy Festival (2013). 2009 performed for the Seattle Mariners at Spring Training, and made his television debut by performing on the show Laughs on Fox(2015) & has appeared on ADD-TV on MTV2

SimonKaufman[4448].jpg

There are many problems in the world. Luckily we have Simon Kaufman to solve them all for us on stage. Simon Kaufman's performances are a form of social commentary on society. Taking a stoic philosophical viewpoint towards his life, Simon's stand up act is like an orator standing in the Forum of Ancient Rome using his humor as a means of speaking to his fellow countrymen.

Growing up in a Jewish home in an inner-city neighborhood has given rise to a very unique comedy style that people fall in love with. Being the only white guy on many of his little league sports teams has left Simon with a rich understanding of all aspects of the American spectrum that few get to have. From the city to the country Simon's jokes appeal to everybody. Simon Kaufman is a 4th generation comedic actor tracing his roots back to vaudeville, Yiddish theater, and the early days of Broadway. It's the family business. He’s appeared on The Millionaire Matchmaker on the Bravo Channel, The TV show “The 206”, and the movie Silver Skies with George Hamilton and Dick Van Patten.

His comedy is cerebral but not stuffy and therefore works for all types of audiences. His act is about the chaos of life, the over consumption of modern times, and societies lack of common sense. Simon makes you look at yourself and laugh and points fun at our current age of rapid evolution.

Tommy Ryman.jpeg

Tommy Ryman, a semifinalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, is an acclaimed comedian. His oddly-adorable stand-up landed him No. 2 on iTunes comedy charts for his album Having the Time of My Life. Named Best of the Midwest at Gilda’s Laugh Fest, Tommy grew up in Minnesota jamming on clarinet for his new-age mom and kale-chip-making dad. He performs at top clubs, colleges, and festivals across the nation including the Great American Comedy Festival. Tommy was invited to be on Nickelodeon’s NickMom Night Out and has a full comedy special on Dry Bar Comedy. He’s worked alongside Nick Swardson, Hannibal Buress, Maria Bamford and Louie Anderson but none wear a cardigan quite like Tommy. Featured on Paste Magazine and regularly heard on SirusXM and iheartradio, Tommy’s act can be described as absurdist and clever masked behind an endearing, innocent demeanor. A Last Comic Standing judge raved, “I have never seen anything like [Tommy] before in my whole life, [he is] one-of-a-kind, fantastic!”
